BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) — A former Biloxi Shuckers infielder and Milwaukee Brewers prospect has inked a long-term deal, reports say.
Reports say Milwaukee Brewers shortstop prospect Cooper Pratt has agreed to terms on an eight-year, $50.75 million contract.
The 21-year-old Pratt batted .238 with a .343 on-base percentage, eight homers, 62 RBIs, 31 steals and 67 walks in 120 games with the Shuckers in 2025.
After starting the 2026 season with the Triple-A Nashville Sounds, he is 4-15 with an RBI and a steal in three games.
Pratt joins current Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Jackson Chourio as another prospect who inked a long-term deal before making his MLB debut.
