The Arcade Marketplace, The Landing and Guardians Classics are three new ballpark concessions opening this season
The Guardians collaborated with local restaurants to offer new food options, including Good Company Steak Thai Fries, a steak sandwich and more
“We have completed our seating transformation project as every seat in Progressive Field is now blue and we also have a couple renovated ballpark concession spaces that will be coming to Progressive Field this year,” Cleveland Guardians Vice President of Communications and Community Impact Curtis Danburg said.
Two of those new concession spaces are The Arcade Marketplace and The Landing. Both are grab and go self-checkout markets for food and beverages so fans don’t miss out on any of the action.
Additionally, fans will get the chance to try several new food options with the team once again partnering with local restaurants to spice up the menu.
“You’ll get to taste test our spicy Thai fries created with Good Company, the Med Dog created with Aladdin’s Eatery and our Spicy Chicken created with Sauce the City,” said Danburg. “Other new future favorites include the Jackhammer, and Spicy Sausage in partnership with Steak CLE in Tremont. We have tallow popcorn, a steak sandwich and the beef patty melt.”
There’s a new Fat Head’s Brew Deck as part of an expanded Corner Bar that features craft beer, interactive games and a new beer market. The Guardians team store is also opening a new retail location in the upper deck.
“This event always feels like the perfect opportunity for us to showcase what’s new at Progressive Field,” said Danburg.
The updates and renovations enhance the fan experience at the ballpark. The stadium is in the third phase of ‘Progressive Field Reimagined’, a $200 million effort to modernize the ballpark that opened in 1994. Danburg described the third and final phase of renovations as focusing on how fans spend their time and money while at the stadium.
The Cleveland Guardians will take on the Chicago Cubs in the team’s home opener at Progressive Field on Friday, April 3rd. Fans can see a full list of new amenities, including this year’s promotional schedule, here.
