Here’s what you missed.

There were 175 total challenges.

94 were overturned.

In one game, umpire CB Buckner, he had a rough day.

Six of his eight challenges were overturned.

Each team only gets two challenges per game, and the Atlanta Braves ran out of challenges after two pitches in the bottom of the first inning.

There were some good calls and bad calls.

Some challenges weren’t successful.

Matt Wallner took this pitch with the bases loaded and two outs, and then challenged the strike call.

Pitcher Ryan Helsley successfully challenged this three and two call to strike out Josh Bell in the ninth, but Twins manager Derek Shelton didn’t think he did so fast enough and got ejected from the game.

Not only was this TV drama, but it also gave us potentially the call of the season already.

And Derek Shelton’s been thrown out.

He’s arguing with the robots.

You can’t defeat the robots.

Is this making the sport of baseball more entertaining?
