ST. LOUIS — The Mets’ chance at securing their second straight series victory has been delayed due to thunderstorms in the St. Louis area.
The series finale between the Mets and Cardinals is estimated to begin a 2:15 p.m. ET following an hour delay.

The Mets are coming off a 3-0 loss in the second game of the series during which the offense only collected three hits. The club won the opening game of the series, 4-2, behind a two-RBI performance by Bo Bichette.
Freddy Peralta is slated to start Wednesday’s game for the Mets against Cardinals left-hander Matthew Liberatore.
