Dodgers Add Pitcher From Rival Diamondbacks in Surprise Move

The Los Angeles Dodgers have claimed right-handed pitcher Grant Holman off waivers from the Arizona Diamondbacks, the team announced on Wednesday.

In order to make room on the 40-man roster, right-handed pitcher Gavin Stone was transferred to the 60-day injured list.

This is the second pitching addition the Dodgers made on Wednesday. Earlier, the Dodgers made a trade, acquiring left-handed pitcher Jake Eder from the Washington Nationals.
