Benton Panthers @ Greenbrier
The Benton Panthers split with Greenbrier, losing game one 4-2 and winning game two 6-5.
Easton Snellings went 2 for 3 with an RBI in game one and 2 for 4 with 2 RBIs in game two. Caleb Curry went 2 for 3 with 2 RBIs, Marcus Bates went 0 for 2 with an RBI, and Sawyer Wilson went 2 for 3 with an RBI.
“We got the split, and that was huge for us, especially after losing the first game. We had a chance to win the first game. We played great defense, had a couple of key hits, and pitched well. They got a couple of bigger hits than we did. That’s baseball! Very proud of our guys for coming back and putting sic runs up and fighting for a victory. Easton Snellings had a big day at the plate for us in both games, and Sawyer Wilson did a great job of closing out the game for us in game 2,” said Head Coach Mark Ballisteri.
Bauxite Miners @ Pangburn
The Bauxite Miners defeated Panburn 14-1
Andrew Matthew had 10 strikeouts and gave up 4 hits,1 run, and walked none through seven innings. He also went 3 for 4 at the plate. Keller Hyder went 1 for 2 with 2 RBI, Drake Pettus went 2 for 5 with 2 RBIs, Austin Hastings went 1 for 4 with an RBI, and Ethan Kelley went 2 for 4 with 2 RBIs.
“Great win! We continued where we left off, hitting the ball hard. Andrew had his best outing of the year on the mound. We are excited about the direction we are headed in as we begin conference play this week,” said Head Coach Michael Mattox.
The Bryant Hornets fell to LRCA 2-1 through 9 innings.

AJ Stallman went 2 for 4, Blake Bower went 1 for 4, Blake Scoggins went 1 for 4, Jeremiah Motes went 1 for 3, Kolby Duncan went 1 for 3, Chance Thompson went 1 for 4, and Jonathan Carter went 1 for 2.
“I thought our team competed well throughout the game. We just have to find a way to win these 1-run games,” said Head Coach Garrett Bock.
Harmony Grove Cardinals @ Two Rivers
The Harmony Grove Cardinals defeated Two Rivers 18-5.
Wyatt Borden, Massey Wake, Tucker Blaylock, Bradley Davis, Landon Hughes, Christian Tillman, and Henry Chancellor all scored at least once. Borden, Cade McGrew, and Hughes tripled during the game. James Diamond, Cash Potter, Dax Hammett, Luke McGough, Hughes, Borden, Blaylock, and Sam Stalls each had at least one hit.
“It was great to be able to come back after playing great on spring break and pick up a conference win. We got contributions from a lot of players tonight in a big win. These guys are working hard and getting better each time they take the field. I’m looking forward to finishing the week strong, headed into Easter weekend,” said Head Coach Brandon Mynhier.
