SEATTLE — The Seattle Mariners head out for their first road trip of the season as they get set to take on the Los Angeles Angels Friday night.

This week, Farah Jadran takes you back to the Mariners clubhouse to get to know Venezuelan infielder Leo Rivas.

1.) What’s most special about this team? 

2.) What are your game day routines or superstitions? 

If I get like a base hit or a double or something like that with the same batting glove, I just keep it the same the next day.

3.) Do you have a signature dance move to celebrate a home run or big win? 

No tengo ninguna. I’ve gotta think about one, though. I don’t have one right now.

4.) If you could eat only one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? 

The arepas — Venezuelan food. I don’t know if you’ve tried it before. You’ve got to try it.

5.) If you could have a super power, what would it be? 

Teletransportarme, so I can be with my family any time I want. 

6.) Who has the best eyes on the team? 

I’ll say (Mitch) Garver, I don’t know. I think he’s got good color eyes.
