The Texas Rangers celebrated their home opener with new manager Skip Schumaker on Friday at Globe Life Field.

“I’m just grateful for this opportunity,” said Schumaker. “I hope every player feels the same when they look up and see their families and the fan base.”

The Rangers fell in their home opener to the Cincinnati Reds 5-3.
