Kansas City Royals move Friday game to Saturday due to storms

AND WE’RE HOPING THE ROYALS CAN PULL IT OFF. LINN THEY’RE LEADING RIGHT NOW THREE ONE IN THE SEVENTH INNING. OF COURSE, A LOT OF CELEBRATING HAPPENING. THERE’S ALSO AN EMOTIONAL MOMENT FOR TODAY’S GAME. AS MANY OF YOU ROYALS FANS KNOW, TERRANCE GORE PASSED AWAY DURING THE OFF SEASON. HE WAS YOUNG. HE WAS A KANSAS CITY ROYAL. HE PLAYED FOR THE 2014 2015 WORLD SERIES TEAMS AND HE WAS A HERO. HE WAS USED FOR HIS SPEED AND HE WAS FAST. HE WAS HARD TO CATCH ON THE BASE PATHS, SO IT WAS VERY SAD. HIS FAMILY IS HERE FOR THIS GAME. EARLIER TODAY, JJ, THE ROYALS GENERAL MANAGER, TALKED ABOUT THE LOSS OF TERRANCE GORE. AND HE DID GET EMOTIONAL. BUT YOU KNOW IT’S THE LEAST WE COULD DO YOU KNOW FOR HIS FAMILY. SO IT’LL BE FUN TO SEE HIS HIS KIDS OUT THERE. HIS SON’S A BASEBALL PLAYER. HE WAS VERY INVOLVED WITH WITH HIS, HIS YOUTH TEAM. SO WE HAD ZAIN OUT ON THE FIELD THE OTHER DAY RUNNING AROUND. OUR PLAYERS DO WHAT THEY DO. THEY’RE SPECIAL GUYS. AND THEY MADE THAT DAY SPECIAL. AND HOPEFULLY IT’S THE SAME THING TODAY AND OUR FANS APPRECIATE CELEBRATING TERRANCE’S LIFE. IT WAS A NICE TRIBUTE TO TERRANCE GORE BEFORE THE GAME. AS YOU MENTIONED, HIS SON ZAIN WAS OUT THERE THROWING THE FIRST CEREMONIAL PITCH AND HE THREW IT TO ROYALS. GREAT. AND ONE OF TERRANCE GORE’S FORMER TEAMMAT
