CLEVELAND — Fans heading downtown for the Cleveland Guardians’ 2026 home opener at Progressive Field should be ready for a noticeable spike in parking prices.
3News observed rates at several locations across Cleveland on Friday morning ahead of the highly anticipated matchup against the Chicago Cubs. Prices varied widely, with the highest reaching as much as $80.

The City of Cleveland also shared key information with 3News regarding parking restrictions and special event pricing zones in effect for the home opener.
If you’re heading downtown, officials urge drivers to plan ahead and be aware of temporary no-parking zones.
The following streets will have no-parking restrictions in place:
