Los Angeles Angels outfielder Jo Adell may have played the single most impactful defensive game in baseball history on Saturday night in his home ballpark — truly an Angel in the Outfield.
And in a 1-0 win for the Angels over the Seattle Mariners, every bit of his contribution was critical to the final result.

His pitchers should buy him all the gifts in the world. He saved them, and he saved the Angels.
