On April 9, the Kansas Legislature returns for its so-called “veto session.” It will attempt to override any vetoes by Gov. Laura Kelly and could also take up some unfinished business.

Then, opening day of baseball. The Kansas City Royals opened on the road then came back to KC to knock off the Twins at the home opener.
And in the booth for his 58th home opener in Kansas City, the legendary Denny Matthews.
