The White Sox have won each of the first two games, to they will look to go for the sweep.
Chicago White Sox Announce Roster Move

Before Sunday’s game, the White Sox announced that they had made a roster move.
Noah Phalen of Southside Showdown wrote: “#WhiteSox recall IF Tanner Murray for his big league debut. Everson Pereira headed to the IL with a sprained ankle”

Murray had been batting .304 with two home runs, seven RBI’s, six runs and two stolen bases in his first six games of the year (in Triple-A).
He is batting seventh in the lineup on Sunday.

Murray was picked in the fourth round of the 2020 MLB Draft.
The 26-year-old is coming off a season (in Triple-A) where he batted .241 with 18 home runs, 58 RBI’s, 67 runs and five stolen bases in 137 games.
Jeff Cohen of FutureSox wrote: “The White Sox clearly think highly of Tanner Murray. Here in Charlotte, they made him a priority, hitting him third in the batting order and moving him between third, short and second to enhance his versatility.”

White Sox Right Now
The White Sox came into the day with a 3-5 record in their first eight games, which has them as the fourth-place team in the American League Central.
Following the Blue Jays, they will remain in Chicago to host the Baltimore Orioles on Monday.

The White Sox are coming off a year where they missed the MLB playoffs with a 60-102 record.
They last made the postseason in 2021.
