Each year, Baseball America tracks every MLB debut throughout the course of the season. We like to give credit not only to the players whose hard work has paid off, but also to the scouts who identified the talent and helped them sign with their club.

Last year, 243 players found themselves on big league lineup cards for the first time. This year, the list so far includes foreign professionals like Kazuma Okamoto and Munetaka Murakami, who jumped from Japan onto the rosters of the Blue Jays and White Sox, and a host of top prospects like Konnor Griffin, Kevin McGonigle and JJ Wetherholt, who have earned their first tests at the highest level.
