On Tuesday night, the Toronto Blue Jays will host the Los Angeles Dodgers in Canada for the second game of their series.
The Blue Jays lost (on Monday) by a score of 14-2.

Before Tuesday’s game, the Blue Jays announced that they had made a series of roster moves.
Two of those moves included calling up Patrick Corbin and Tyler Fitzgerald.
Keegan Matheson of MLB.com wrote: “News: Addison Barger to the IL with a left ankle sprain. • INF Tyler Fitzgerald recalled • LHP Patrick Corbin recalled • LHP Josh Fleming DFA’d”
Corbin’s Background

Corbin is a two-time All-Star who has also spent time playing for the Arizona Diamondbacks, Texas Rangers and Washington Nationals over 13 seasons.
The 2019 World Series Champion is coming off a year where he went 7-11 with a 4.40 ERA in 31 games for the Rangers.
He signed with the Blue Jays earlier this week.
Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet wrote (on April 3): “Blue Jays signed Patrick Corbin to a one-year $1 million contract He’s been ptioned to the Dunedin Blue Jays roster. Deal includes $1 million in incentives per source”
Fitzgerald’s Background

Fitzgerald had spent the first three seasons of his carer playing for the San Francisco Giants.
He is coming off a year where he batted .217 with four home runs and 14 RBI’s.
The 28-year-old was recently traded to the Blue Jays.

The Blue Jays have dealt with a lot of injuries to start the 2026 season.
After Monday’s loss to the Dodgers, they dropped to 4-6 in their first games, which has them as the fourth-place team in the American League East.
Following their series with the Dodgers, the Blue Jays will remain in Canada to host the Minnesota Twins (on April 10).
Last season, they lost in Game 7 of the World Series (to the Dodgers).
