KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – The Kansas City Royals announced a change in the schedule this week.
The team plays in Cleveland against the Guardians this week before returning home to Kauffman Stadium for a weekend stand.
The Guardians announced April 6, that Tuesday’s game in Cleveland is moved up and first pitch will take place at 12:10 p.m. The rescheduled game is because of expected frigid temperatures at night.
Temperatures Monday night are expected to drop to 29 degrees with 23 mile an hour wind gusts.
Tuesday’s night barely breaks freezing with a high temperature of 33 degrees. Temps will rebound to near 60 degrees by Wednesday.
It will be better baseball weather in Kansas City when the Royals return home for a weekend stand against the White Sox. Tickets for those games are still available at Royals.com.
