Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across MLB. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in White Sox fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.
This week, particularly in light of the brief hope we felt in sweeping the defending AL champs, we’re asking you what aspect of the White Sox roster is most improved.
Early on, it seemed like predictions that the pitching would be the Achilles’ heel for the club were true, but there have been several shutdown games for the hitting, including a TON of strikeouts early.
While it’s way too early to make anything of it (and WAR might not be the best measure on which to base your answer), the 11-game results have the hitting WAR at 0.4, the rotation at 0.9 WAR, bullpen -0.5 WAR and defense -1.1.
