QUINCY — Quincy Notre Dame starting pitcher Josie Boyer was on top of her game against Brown County on Wednesday at the Backyard.

Boyer pitched five shutout innings of one-hit ball and allowed just one walk to help QND defeat Brown County 10-0.

At the plate, Boyer went 2-for-3 with a double and a run.

QND catcher Elise Sedovic went 2-for-2 with two doubles and four RBIs.

Lady Raiders first baseman Cadence Smith went 2-for-3 with two doubles, two RBIs and a run, while third baseman Natalie Zook went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and a run.

QND center fielder Sophia White went 1-for-3 with a double, RBI, three runs and three stolen bases, while left fielder Morgan Winking went 1-for-3 with two runs and an RBI.

Brown County third baseman Nena Boylen had the team’s lone hit, while left fielder Charly Maxwell drew a walk.

Lady Hornets Kilyn Oxley went four innings with one strikeout, while allowing 11 hits, one walk and six earned runs.

Up next for Brown County (4-2) is a road game against Winchester West Central at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
