The Joplin High School Eagles baseball team (17-17) could not overcome four errors as they fell to the Blue Springs South High School Jaguars (24-7) 4-1 in the first game of their best-of-three Class 6 quarterfinals on Friday at BSSHS.
The Jaguars got on the board in the top of the second inning, when Mason Stover plated Myland Bristow with a line drive single to center.
