Foster Griffin allowed four earned runs on eight hits and one walk while striking out seven over 5.1 innings in Thursday’s win over the Pirates.

After Thursday’s outing, Griffin now has a 3.05 ERA and 1.26 WHIP with a 2-0 record through four starts. Griffin was able to get through four innings before running into any trouble, with his four earned runs allowed being the most he has surrendered in a start this season. He is slated to take on the Braves in his next outing.
