Saturday’s MLB matchup between the Tampa Bay Rays and Pittsburgh Pirates has been delayed due to inclement weather. Play has been suspended with two outs in the bottom of the fourth inning, with Pittsburgh holding a 4-0 lead. There is currently no expected timeline for when play will resume and updates will be added as they are provided by the teams during this rain delay.

This also comes after an effort was made to move the start time of the matchup earlier today to avoid the weather.

It has been a relatively strong start to the season for the Pirates. They are currently tied for second place in the NL Central with a 12-8 overall record. The Rays also are satisfied with their start to the season, sitting in the top spot in the AL East with an 11-8 overall record.
