In the bottom of the sixth inning of Monday’s game against the Washington Nationals, Ronald Acuña Jr. was replaced by Eli White. Acuña Jr. was hit by a 91 mph four-seam fastball in the top of the inning, the second pitch that he saw in the at-bat. He remained in the game and eventually scored a run before being removed later on.
Prior to exiting, Acuña Jr. went 0-for-1 with a strikeout and run scored.
Since Acuña Jr. had two plate appearances during the game, he will not be eligible for DraftKings Early Exit.
