Host Goshen used a six-run fourth inning to defeat Washingtonville 9-3 on Tuesday in a non-league baseball game.
Stephen Kovacs tossed a five-hitter for Goshen (5-3) with 11 strikeouts and just one walk. Avery Farrell went 3-for-4 with three RBI for the Gladiators, who trailed 3-2 before the fourth inning rally. Goshen had five stolen bases, including two by Kovacs.
Frank Schiraldi went 3-for-3 with a double and an RBI for Washingtonville (4-4).
