(Flushing, NY) — The Minnesota Twins dropped the rubber-match of their series against the New York Mets 10-8 from Citi Field. The Twins tied the game at seven when Ryan Jeffers hit a grand slam in the top of the eighth, but Anthony Banda surrendered a three-run double in the next half-inning to give New York the win. Tristan Gray homered in the losing effort, while Andrew Morris was charged with the loss in relief. The 12-and-13 Twins send Taj Bradley to the mound against the Rays tonight.
