Belfry took the trek to Owensboro over the weekend to compete in the All “A” Classic state tournament.
The Lady Pirates went 1-2 in Pool Play.
Belfry didn’t make it out of Pool Play as they came up one win short of advancing in the tournament.
Belfry knocked off Lexington Christian 6-1, but fell to Bracken County 11-1 and Livingston Central 13-1.

Molly Fahm had a huge game to lead the way for the Lady Pirates past LCA in their opening game of the All “A” Classic.
Fahm picked up the win in the circle and had a huge day at the plate.
Fahm tossed seven innings of work and gave up one run on two hits and two walks, while striking out 13 batters.
At the plate, Fahm was three for three with a home run and three runs scored.
Baylor Hall followed Fahm going two for three with a double, an RBI and a run scored. McKinlee Fields followed with an RBI and a run scored.
Maddison Wertzler and Sophia Gorshak had LCA’s two hits, while Emma McIntosh had the lone RBI.

Belfry couldn’t find a way to score as the Lady Pirates fell to the Lady Polar Bears 11-1 in six innings.
Fahm led the way for Belfry once again.
At the plate, Fahm was three for three with a double and a stolen base. Baylor Hall was two for three with a double, two stolen bases and a run scored.
In the circle, Fahm tossed six innings of work and gave up 11 runs (six earned) on 10 hits and two walks, while striking out six batters.
Kyndall Johnson led the way for Bracken County at the plate. She was four for four with a double, two RBIs, two steals and four runs scored. Jordan Ahrens was two for four with a triple and three RBIs. Rees Hargett was two for four. Ella Burton added four RBIs. Jenna Colvin singled and drove in a run. Addyson Tucker and Macy Beckett each added hits.
Hargett picked up the win in the circle as she tossed six innings of work and gave up one run on five hits and no walks, while striking out four batters.

For the second straight game at the All “A” Classic, Belfry’s bats struggled to get going as the Lady Pirates fell to Livington Central 13-1.
Abbi Vipperman and Molly Fahm had Belfry’s only two hits on the day. Vipperman also added Belfry’s only RBI.
Jade New got the start for the Lady Pirates. She tossed three innings of work and gave up nine runs (six earned) on eights and three walks, while striking out one.
Fahm tossed an inning of relief work. She gave up four runs (two earned) on four hits and a walk.
Addison Trimble picked up the win in the circle for Livingston Central. She tossed three innings of work and she didn’t give up any runs or hits, while walking one and striking out six.
Lillian Polk tossed an inning of work and gave up one run on two hits, while striking out two batters.
Amelia Ray led the way for Livingston Central. She was three for three with a double and four RBIs. Tramble was three for three with two doubles, an RBI and three runs scored. Irelynn Burns was two for three with a double, two RBIs and a run scored. Hadley Hargroved, Baylee Neal and Aubrey Leahy all had singles. Leahy also drove in three runs.
Cumberland County went on to claim the 2026 All “A” Classic championship.
Belfry (11-10) was scheduled to visit Pike Central Monday in 60th District action. The two teams are scheduled to face off again Tuesday at 6:00 p.m.
