REPORTS, THE CREW COULD BE GETTING SOME REINFORCEMENTS VERY SOON. >> SOME GOOD NEWS FOR THE BREWERS SLUGGER. JACKSON DARIO IS EXPECTED TO RETURN TO THE LINEUP SOON. THE 22 YEAR OLD BEGINS A REHAB ASSIGNMENT TOMORROW WITH TRIPLE-A NASHVILLE. AFTER MISSING THE ENTIRE SEASON WITH A FRACTURED LEFT HAND SUFFERED BACK IN MARCH DURING THE WORLD BASEBALL CLASSIC. DARIO IS TARGETING A COMEBACK THIS COMING MONDAY, MAY 4TH, AGAINST THE CARDINALS IN SAINT LOUIS. I ASKED MANAGER PAT MURPHY HOW TOUGH IT’S BEEN FOR CHOURIO THIS SEASON NOT TO PLAY. >> IT’S ONE OF THOSE INJURIES WHERE YOU DON’T WANT TO RISK THE CATASTROPHE OF HAVING TO HAVE SURGERY ON IT BECAUSE YOU DIDN’T GIVE IT PROPER TIME, BUT YOU FEEL GREAT IN THE MEANTIME, LIKE, WHY CAN’T I PLAY? YOU KNOW, BUT IT’S, YOU KNOW, THE RECOMMENDATION IS TO MAKE SURE THAT IT’S IN A SPACE WHERE IT’S NOT GOING TO, IT’S NOT GOING TO BE AFFECTED, AND YOU’RE NOT GOING TO NEED SURGERY. SO GOING THROUGH THIS HAS GOT TO BE TOUGH. AND HE LOVES TO PLAY. >> AND FIRST BASEMAN ANDREW VAUGHN IS ALSO EXPECTED TO START A REHAB ASSIGNMENT ON WEDNESDAY. THE BREWERS COULD USE BOTH OF THEM AND THEIR POWER AT THE PLATE. THE TEAM HAS NOT HIT A HOME RUN IN SEVEN GAMES. IT’S THEIR LONGEST HOME RUN DROUGHT SINCE AUGUS
