The Wilson Bulldogs, who lost their last three conference games, are the top seed in the BCIAA Baseball Tournament which starts Thursday.
The Bulldogs (13-6 overall, 9-3 Division 1) will play eighth-seeded Kutztown (13-7, 8-3 Division 4) at Muhlenberg High School in the second game of a doubleheader.
In the first game at Muhlenberg at 4 p.m., fourth-seeded Exeter (14-6, 7-5 Division 1) plays fifth-seeded Berks Catholic (13-4, 11-1 Division 3).
The other doubleheader on Thursday is at Owl’s Field.
The 4 p.m. game is third-seeded Muhlenberg (10-7, 9-3 Division 1) against sixth-seeded and defending BCIAA champion Gov. Mifflin (10-10, 7-5 Division 1). The Mustangs won their last three conference games including a 12-1 win over Wilson on April 27.
The second game of the doubleheader at Owl’s features second-seeded Oley Valley (15-4, 9-2 Divisioin 4) against seventh-seeded Daniel Boone (9-9, 6-5 Division 2).
Wilson, Daniel Boone, Berks Catholic and Oley Valley were division winners. Muhlenberg, Exeter and Gov. Mifflin are from Division 1 with Kutztown being the only runner-up from Divisions 2-4.
