Cardinals, Brewers set for daytime matchup at Busch Stadium

The St. Louis Cardinals will wrap up their series with the Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday in a daytime matchup at Busch Stadium.

First pitch is scheduled for 12:15 p.m. central time.

The pitching matchup features Milwaukee’s Brandon Sproat, who enters 0-2 with a 6.75 ERA, against St. Louis right-hander Andre Pallante at 3-2 with a 3.73 ERA.

Both teams will look to their offenses as well, with Milwaukee’s William Contreras and St. Louis rookie JJ Wetherholt among the hot hitters entering the game.

The Cardinals will try to continue their recent momentum as they close out the series at home. First pitch from Busch Stadium is set for 12:15, with pregame coverage by Ameren Total Access beginning at 11:20. Wednesday’s game can be heard on KTLO AM 1240.
