SPOKANE, Wash. — The Gonzaga Bulldogs will look to win the West Coast Conference Regular Season Title for the first time since 2022 and make a return to the NCAA Tournament with six games left to play.

The Zags (29-17, 16-5 WCC) will be on the road at San Francisco (22-23, 13-8 WCC) for three games against the Dons. The Zags are currently in first place in the conference, with USF three games back in second place.

The Bulldogs come off a season sweep of Washington State on Monday afternoon, where they collected 18 hits and the defense converted four double plays, tying for the third-most double plays converted by Gonzaga in a game in the past two decades.

“I think our kids are going to remain confident. They’ve played well for so long; hopefully, they wouldn’t let one weekend change that,” Gonzaga Head Coach Mark Machtolf said. “We’ve been preparing for it, and we really pride ourselves on… they’re all important from day one. We pride ourselves on coming out and doing it our way, regardless of the situation, regardless of the score.”

First pitch for Friday’s game against San Francisco is set for 2 p.m., with the following two games at 1 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

GU will finish the regular season with a three-game homestand against Seattle U starting on Thursday, May 14, and you can watch that game on SWX or stream on SWXLocalSports.com.

The West Coast Conference Baseball Tournament takes place on May 20-23 in Scottsdale, Ariz.
