Angels at Blue Jays picks and predictionsPrediction
Blue Jays 5, Angels 2
BET BLUE JAYS (-102).
Momentum continues to favor the Blue Jays heading into Sundayās series finale. Toronto has dominated the first 2 games, outscoring Los Angeles 16-1 while continuing to play far better at Rogers Centre than on the road. The Blue Jays are hitting .255 as a team at home with 21 home runs, and 1B Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has been outstanding there, batting .362.
Toronto using an opener before Eric Lauer (1-4, 6.03 ERA) shouldnāt be much of an issue given how quiet the Angels offense has looked in this series. Meanwhile, Soriano has started to come back to earth after a hot start, allowing 8 ER in his last 9 innings pitched.
The Angels also continue to struggle away from home with a 7-15 road record. With Toronto rolling offensively and controlling this matchup from the start, the Blue Jays are a strong play Sunday.
PASS. I am not interested in the run line.
The trends continue to point toward a lower-scoring game Sunday. The Under has cashed in 6 of the last 8 meetings between these teams, while Los Angeles has gone Under in 8 of its last 10 games overall. Soriano has seen the Under hit in 3 of his last 4 outings. Toronto has also seen the Under cash in 4 of its last 6 games. BET UNDER 8 (-105).
