The freeway was already filled up with rush hour traffic and drivers being detoured from the Jennings Freeway due to emergency repairs shutting down the northbound lanes.
Even with one lane open by 6 p.m., traffic was backed up to I-480 with speeds around 5 MPH.
The crash was cleared by 6:25 p.m.
The cause of it, and extent of any possible injuries, is unknown at this time.
