Jones College baseball heading to first NJCAA World Series since 2016

ELLISVILLE, Miss. (WDAM) – The Jones College Bobcats are heading back to the NJCAA World Series for the first time since 2016.

Back in 2016, Jones won the NJCAA national title, becoming the first Mississippi JUCO baseball team to win a national championship.

This year’s group won the Region 23 title by sweeping Northwest Mississippi Community College in the Ellisville Super Regional.

The NJCAA World Series bracket will be announced Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. The NJCAA World Series begins May 23.
