The Washington Nationals have banned from their stadium a spectator who last Sunday displayed a nationalist banner with the slogan “Save the United States” and “Deport more than one hundred million” and which was removed. For now, the baseball club has identified at least one person of the three who were holding it during the game against the Baltimore Orioles and which they lost 7-3.
“The Washington Nationals strongly condemn discriminatory and hateful rhetoric, and we strive to make our stadium a safe space for our fans,” they said in a statement.

Comunicado oficialTribute to veterans and military personnel
During the game, a tribute to veterans and military personnel was paid before the fourth inning. It was then that the controversial banner was unfurled in the upper tier of the stadium. An investigation is underway into how those carrying it were able to pass through security with it.
The large red, white, and blue flag included a link to a white nationalist website and called for the deportation of more than 100 million people.
