Hoglund, the Athletics’ No. 18 prospect, underwent successful surgery on Tuesday. The procedure included a hip labral repair and cartilage debridement to address femoroacetabular impingement. Hoglund dealt with multiple injuries this season and was unable to appear in game action during 2026. He will spend the remainder of the year rehabbing in hopes of being ready for spring training in 2027.
