Webb is pitching for the Sacramento River Cats, as he begins a rehab assignment before he returns to the Major League ballclub. The Giants ace has not started a game since he was placed on the 15-day injured list due to a knee injury earlier this month. His last appearance in a River Cats uniform came on July 1, 2021, during a road game in Las Vegas.Prior to his MLB debut, Webb pitched for the River Cats once on Aug. 12, 2019. He made his MLB debut five days later with the Giants. Webb last pitched at Sutter Health Park in July 2025 against the Athletics in a 7-2 victory for the Giants.
