#19 Seymour 15, Campbellsport 2
Seymour stayed hot Tuesday afternoon, rolling past Campbellsport 15-2 in a five-inning varsity matchup. The Thunder wasted no time at the plate, scoring three runs in the first inning before adding three more in the second and breaking the game open with a seven-run third inning.
Seymour finished with 13 hits and showed patience at the plate with nine walks. Senior Cayden Staffeldt led the offensive surge, going 2-for-3 with a home run, double, four RBIs, and three runs scored. Junior Brayden Banker also had a big day, collecting three hits and driving in two runs while adding a stolen base.
On the mound, Xavier Salzman helped keep Campbellsport in check, allowing just two runs on two hits over three innings while striking out two. Seymour’s defense was sharp throughout, finishing the game without an error.
The Thunder improved to 17-6 on the season with the convincing nonconference victory.
