The Diamondbacks finish up a six-game homestand on Sunday, June 1, with the final game of three against the Washington Nationals at 1:10 p.m. at Chase Field.

It’s right-handed ace Corbin Burnes on the mound for the Diamondbacks. Burnes has been terrific over his past eight starts (seven quality starts) and posted a 1.67 ERA in four starts during May.

After an off day on June 2, the Diamondbacks begin a three-game series in Atlanta against the Braves at Truist Park. Game times are 4:15 p.m. MST June 3-4 and 9:15 a.m. on June 5.

Atlanta has had a disappointing season in part because a few of their best players were injured. That included stars Ronald Acuña Jr. and Marcell Ozuna, and top pitcher Spencer Strider. All three are back, but the Diamondbacks might miss Strider’s turn in the rotation.

The Diamondbacks lost two of three to the Braves April 25-27 at Chase Field.

From Atlanta, the Diamondbacks head north to Cincinnati to play the Reds for the first time this season. The Reds, like Atlanta, have managed to remain in the wild-card conversation, as they found themselves in the middle of the pack in the NL Central earlier in the week.

Cincinnati’s most exciting player is 23-year-old Elly De La Cruz, a base-stealing machine who can hit for power and can have an impact on the game in multiple ways. Former Dodgers infielder Gavin Lux has been adept at extra-base hits this season and is hitting well in a slightly more than part-time role.

The Diamondbacks are 13-14 on the road this season, having lost five straight away from home.

The Diamondbacks-Reds series is June 6-8 at Great American Ballpark, with game times at 4:10 MST, 1:10 p.m. and 10:40 a.m.
