The St. Louis Cardinals (30-25) ended a four-game losing streak on Friday night and jumped past the Chicago Cubs (31-27) into second place in the National League Central as the teams play the second game of a three-game series at Busch Stadium in St. Louis on Saturday night.

Ian Happ got Chicago off to a strong start with a three-run blast in the top of the first, and Michael Busch gave the Cubs the lead again in the second with an RBI single. But starter Shota Imanaga couldn’t hold the lead, allowing five runs on five hits in his 5.1 innings to take the loss.

Right-hander Kyle Leahy (5-3) takes the ball for the Cardinals on Saturday night, entering with a 4.44 ERA and 1.579 WHIP in 10 starts and 50.2 innings. Right-hander Ben Brown (1-2) makes his fifth straight start for the Cubs after opening the season in the bullpen and holds a 2.01 ERA and 0.985 WHIP in 44.2 innings with 47 strikeouts.
