MANCHESTER, N.H. —
A source told News 9 Sports that Exeter High School and Boston College graduate Cody Morissette has been released by the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp, the Triple-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins.
Morissette was drafted by the Marlins in second round of the 2021 MLB Draft.

He batted .282 in 14 games this season and recently had walk-off hits in back-to-back games.
The 26-year-old infielder will now look to pursue opportunities with another organization.
