While there aren’t many places that can beat a fall Saturday in the SEC, the passionate fans, elite facilities and talented baseball programs throughout the conference create some of the rowdiest environments in the country during the spring.

The experience of stepping into any of the college baseball cathedrals in the league is difficult to describe in just a few sentences. Cowbells, bubbles and beer showers are just a few traditions fans can expect to witness while watching elite baseball action.

Those aspects draw fans from across the country to visit these stadiums, whether their goal is to root for the home team or cheer against a bitter rival. The SEC holds nearly all college baseball attendance records, with Mississippi State owning all of the top 25 single-game attendance marks.

With super regionals set to begin this weekend at three of these conference cathedrals, here are the SEC’s baseball stadiums ranked from best to worst.

Attendance record: 13,376 (April 26, 2025 vs. Tennessee)

LSU baseball is synonymous with success. Historically, the Tigers are one of the premier programs in the country, helping to create an intense atmosphere in Death Valley. It would not be an appropriate rankings list without Alex Box Stadium being in the top three.

It doesn’t get much more historic than Foley Field in Athens, Georgia. While the stadium’s maximum capacity is modest compared to others in the league, unique traditions like Kudzu Hill allow fans and students to enjoy a day at the ballpark.

11. Lindsey Nelson Stadium – TennesseeA Tennessee fan salutes during the singing of the national anthem while fireworks shoot from Lindsey Nelson Stadium at the start of the NCAA college baseball game between the Tennessee Volunteers and Texas Longhorns in Knoxville, Tennessee on May 8, 2026.

Capacity: 8,012

Attendance record: 7,430 (April 18, 2026 vs. Ole Miss)

Tennessee’s recent renovations to Lindsey Nelson Stadium have significantly improved the facility, but the Volunteers are still building a tradition to match some of the SEC’s more established stadiums.

Capacity: 7,211

Attendance record: 8,060 (March 5, 2024 vs. Texas A&M)

The turf field is one of the massive downfalls of the Longhorns’ baseball stadium. Texas fans are passionate about baseball, but the stadium is severely lacking any structural charm.

13. Sewell-Thomas Stadium – AlabamaMay 30, 2026; Tuscaloosa, AL, USA; Alabama batter Eric Hines (42) celebrates his three-run homer to right in the Tuscaloosa NCAA Regional winner’s bracket game between Alabama and USC Upstate in Sewell-Thomas Stadium.

Capacity: 8,500

Attendance record: 6,621 (March 29, 2003 vs. LSU)

Known as “The Joe,” Sewell-Thomas Stadium in T-Town has a solid fan experience, but the lack of cultural success is not close to the other programs in the SEC.

14. Hawkins Field – VanderbiltVanderbilt right fielder Logan Johnstone (2) celebrates his home run against Oklahoma with infielder Carter Johnstone (3) during the eighth inning at Hawkins Field in Nashville, Tenn., Thursday, April 9, 2026.

Attendance record: 3,700 (multiple times)

Vanderbilt is one of college baseball’s premier powerhouse programs, but a limited capacity and a quieter atmosphere, besides the ever-so-slightly annoying “Vandy Whistler,” keep it lower on this list.

15. Kimrey Family Stadium – OklahomaOklahoma Sooners outfielder Jason Walk (1) takes first base on a walk in the third inning of a college baseball game between the University of Oklahoma (OU) and the Arizona State Sun Devils at Kimrey Family Stadium in Norman, Okla., Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2026.

Oklahoma Sooners outfielder Jason Walk (1) takes first base on a walk in the third inning of a college baseball game between the University of Oklahoma (OU) and the Arizona State Sun Devils at Kimrey Family Stadium in Norman, Okla., Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2026.

Capacity: 3,180

Attendance record: 5,051 (April 12, 2025 vs. Vanderbilt)

The overall look of one of the league’s newer facilities shows promise, but the Sooners still have plenty of work to do before they become an established atmosphere in the league.

16. Taylor Stadium – MissouriThe Missouri State Bears took on the Mizzou Tigers at Hammons Field on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.

The Missouri State Bears took on the Mizzou Tigers at Hammons Field on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.

Capacity: 3,331

Attendance record: 3,207 (March 31, 2026 vs. Kansas)

Another turf field, combined with a lackluster baseball program, puts Mizzou at the bottom of this list.
