DYERSVILLE, Iowa (KCRG) – Fans in Iowa now have the chance to try to get tickets to the next Major League Baseball game at the Field of Dreams.
Registration is now open for people to get an opportunity to buy tickets to the game this summer.
The Minnesota Twins will head south, and the Philadelphia Phillies will head west, to play against each other in Dyersville on August 13th.
Fans can also register to see a minor league ball game on the field two days before that. That will be between the Triple-A Iowa Cubs and the St. Paul Saints on Tuesday, August 11.
Registration opened Thursday and goes for one week. People can find a link to register here.
Lottery winners for the MLB game will be selected on June 17th and sales will open for them the next day. Lottery winners for the minor league game will be notified the 23rd of June, with sales opportunities opening for the public on the 30th.
This is the third installment of Major League Baseball at the Field of Dreams. The first game was held in August 2021 between the Chicago White Sox and New York Yankees. Then in August 2022 the Chicago Cubs and Cincinnati Reds squared off. For the minor leagues, this is the second match up, when the Cedar Rapids Kernels and Quad Cities River Bandits played in August 2022.
