About two weeks remain in the college baseball season.
With the super regionals of the NCAA Tournament coming to a close on Monday, the Men’s College World Series bracket is beginning to crystallize. A field of 16 teams that entered the weekend will soon be whittled to eight.
So, which teams have made the College World Series? A couple of surprising ones, to be honest.
In a field that included seven SEC teams, two Big Ten teams, two Big 12 teams and one team each from the ACC, Big East, Big West, Ohio Valley and Sun Belt conference, at least one midmajor will crash the party.
More established programs like Texas baseball and Southern California are trying to make it back to Omaha, Neb. and are just one win away.

Three unexpected teams have made it to Omaha: No. 16 West Virginia and unseeded teams Ole Miss and Troy. Troy and West Virginia won their home super regionals, while Ole Miss took down Auburn on the road.
