ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – The Atlanta Braves are rolling.
Atlanta has won five of its last six games during a homestand against the Toronto Blue Jays and Pittsburgh Pirates and enters this week with a 9.5-game lead in the National League East.
The Braves will open a three-game series against the Chicago White Sox on Tuesday before heading to Queens for a road series against the New York Mets. Tuesday’s game will be broadcast live on Gray Media.

Hitters to watch
Braves: Michael Harris II delivered a bases-clearing pinch-hit double in the seventh inning of Sunday’s 3-2 win over the Pirates at Truist Park. Over his past 15 games, Harris is batting .339 with a 1.001 OPS and four home runs in 59 at-bats, providing a spark for a Braves lineup that has lacked consistency as shortstop Ha-Seong Kim and third baseman Austin Riley continue to struggle.
White Sox: Miguel Vargas has quietly emerged as one of baseball’s top third basemen, posting 2.4 WAR through 64 games this season. The White Sox infielder has hit 15 home runs with 41 RBIs and an .859 OPS, making a strong case for his first All-Star selection. If Vargas earns a spot on the American League roster, he would become the first White Sox third baseman to be named an All-Star since Joe Crede in 2008 and just the seventh third baseman in franchise history to receive the honor.
