VFL and 2024 College World Series Champion Nate Snead got the start for the visitors and earned his first win in Double-A. Snead tossed 5.1 innings, allowing two earned runs, while striking out five.
After Leo Balcazar’s ninth home run of the season, Carlos Jorge drove in the Lookouts’ second run of the game on a single in the bottom of the fifth inning. However, Rocket City got a pair of runs back in the top of the sixth on a Caleb Bartolero two-run blast.
Chattanooga loaded the bases with two outs in the bottom of the ninth, but couldn’t scratch any runs across. The Lookouts fall, 7-2, as the Trash Pandas even up the series.
