The Longhorns will play at 7 p.m. Tuesday against the Georgia Bulldogs in another elimination game. Texas suffered a difficult 7-1 loss to Georgia in the opening round of the CWS. Georgia recently lost to Oklahoma, which UT defeated three times in the regular season. One was a 14-0 run-rule win, but the others were 4-3 and 5-4 victories that took 10 innings to complete. The Sooners beat the Crimson Tide 9-0 to set up Monday’s game between Alabama and the Longhorns.

Left-hander Luke Harrison is the next up to start according to Texas’ usual schedule, but head coach Jim Schlossnagle can also turn to right-hander Sam Cozart if need be.
