After not getting the job done against Georgia this past weekend, the Texas baseball team will get another shot with its season on the line.
On Tuesday night at Charles Schwab Field, Texas (46-14) and Georgia (52-13) are set to meet in an elimination game at the College World Series. This SEC showdown comes three days after Georgia recorded a 7-1 win over Texas in both team’s opener in Omaha.
Tuesday’s winner must then beat Oklahoma (40-22) twice in order to advance to the College World Series championship series. The loser of Tuesday’s game won’t play again until the 2027 season.
