Gelof (head) is starting at second base and batting leadoff Sunday against the Angels.
Gelof was held out of Saturday’s starting nine after being hit by a pitch in the earlflap of his helmet Friday, but he’ll rejoin the lineup after sitting out just one game. The 26-year-old will look to extend his 23-game hit streak, during which he’s batting .348 (31-for-89) with six doubles, five homers, two steals, 12 RBI and 16 runs.
