“Corey had a really good day yesterday,” Rangers manager Skip Schumaker said. “He’s going to take live BP here tomorrow, which is good. That means he’s passing a lot of tests, a lot of hurdles that he’s had to go through.  

“We’ve missed Corey; he’s obviously one of the best players in the major leagues. I think he’s on his way to really good days, which is encouraging. We’ll see what the live BP looks like and then go from there.”
