OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – The 2026 College World Series ranked as the third most-watched in history, according to ESPN.
The championship series between North Carolina and Oklahoma averaged 2 million viewers, ESPN said.
Oklahoma’s decisive Game 3 win to clinch the national title drew 2.5 million viewers, making it the most-watched college baseball telecast of the season.
Across all 15 games, the series averaged 1.5 million viewers — up 34% from the previous year.
Only the 2023 and 2024 College World Series rated higher than the 2026 edition.
