One of Daikin Park’s most popular themed events — Hello Kitty Night — is returning next week for the first of two such events this season celebrating the Japanese cartoon character.

The event, which has drawn large crowds each year since its debut in 2022, is scheduled for July 1, according to Major League Baseball’s website. Hello Kitty fans can enjoy festivities throughout the evening, with select ticket packages offering additional perks as the Astros face the Minnesota Twins at 7:10 p.m.

Hello Kitty will make an appearance at Daikin Park that night.

Fans can purchase special ticket packages, including those that come with a Hello Kitty purse and another that includes access to a VIP event featuring face painting, hair braiders, photo opportunities and complimentary snacks and beverages, according to MLB’s website.

Fans can pay more for the special add-ons:

• $49.50 for a special Hello Kitty Night purse ticket.

• $126.50 for the Hello Kitty VIP event package, which includes the purse and access to an event in the Union Station Lobby from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The Astros will host another Hello Kitty Night on Sept. 1.
